{"id":1929,"date":"2023-08-28T10:43:47","date_gmt":"2023-08-28T08:43:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/legheleggere.com\/?p=1929"},"modified":"2023-08-28T10:55:09","modified_gmt":"2023-08-28T08:55:09","slug":"innovative-dental-implant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/legheleggere.com\/en\/innovative-dental-implant\/","title":{"rendered":"Innovative dental implant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As a full contract manufacturer, we can work with various customers and create different products, but all dedicated to the medical sector.<\/p>\n<p>Our reference sectors are orthopedics, human and veterinary, and dental implantology.<\/p>\n<p>It is in the latter area that we had the opportunity to collaborate with one of our important customers on a very innovative project a few years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The project was ambitious and it consisted in the development of a single-phase system with integrated MUA.<\/p>\n<p>In few words\u2026 two parts of a dental implant had to become one.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But what did it mean?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Actually it is better to explain this thing better, especially for non-experts<\/p>\n<h2>The characteristics of an innovative dental implant<\/h2>\n<p>Dental implants are usually made up of several parts, up to 5:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1924 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/legheleggere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Dental-implant-standard.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"237\" height=\"344\" srcset=\"https:\/\/legheleggere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Dental-implant-standard.png 237w, https:\/\/legheleggere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Dental-implant-standard-207x300.png 207w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 237px) 100vw, 237px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>the actual dental implant (which is screwed into the mandible or mandible depending on the patient&#8217;s needs)<\/li>\n<li>the MUA<\/li>\n<li>a joint screw between the MUA and the implant<\/li>\n<li>Cap<\/li>\n<li>Cap and MUA connection screw<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Easypiece system consists of only 3 components:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1926\" src=\"http:\/\/legheleggere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Easy-piece.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"270\" height=\"367\" srcset=\"https:\/\/legheleggere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Easy-piece.png 270w, https:\/\/legheleggere.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Easy-piece-221x300.png 221w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 270px) 100vw, 270px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As it is easy to understand, the union of details 1 and 2 in a single piece and the elimination of the screw (detail 3), has made the system simpler and with less risk of unscrewing.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, as designers well know, the more components that have to &#8220;work&#8221; together, the greater the problems that can arise!<\/p>\n<h2>The advantages of an innovative dental implant<\/h2>\n<p>The advantages of this new implant are not limited to the mechanical part alone but, logically, they are also appreciated by users\u2026 dentists.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the reduction of the parts allows for faster and simpler management of the implant insertion intervention.<\/p>\n<p>As a subcontractor, we have followed all the product development phases and, taking advantage of our experience in mechanical processing, we have suggested any product design improvements.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a full contract manufacturer, we can work with various customers and create different products, but all dedicated to the [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":1436,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[81],"tags":[109,110,108,106,107],"class_list":["post-1929","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-medical-en","tag-dental-implant","tag-easyypiece","tag-implant","tag-innovation","tag-innovative"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
